Pupdate 6-5-2017

I can't figure out why I'm still in foster care! I am a very loving boy. Foster mom thinks I'm part kitty cat. I love to weave in and out of foster moms legs while she is preparing my dinner. If you pick me up, I promise you I will melt right into your body. I still am not completely potty trained although I love being outside for long periods of time. I just like to lift my leg every now and then, most times nothing comes out. Foster momma keeps a belly band on me while I'm in the house for precautionary measures, she doesn't like potty messes on the floor or furniture.

I haven't met anyone I don't like, whether it be pups or humans. I appreciate sleeping in the bedroom at night, not in bed, I am very comfy on the floor. I get too warm on the bed. I have a hearty appetite, I eat only canned food because I have had so many teeth extracted it's hard for me to chew. I eat a high quality grain free food with lots of sweet potatoes and green beans .

Please help me find my forever home! I am UTD on all my vaccinations, microchipped and ready to find my forever family!

A fence is not necessary for me, but I must be taken out on a leash every time I go out doors.

Morning everyone! I have come a long way since my intake. Foster mom really knows my personality now cause I wear it on my paw!

I do not like to be crated. Nope, put me in a crate and I will relentlessly bark and scream. I do best gated off in a room when foster mom leaves the house. I am more of a player now, most times I will join in the fun of rough and tumble. I am a very gentle boy and play gently, but still love to roll on the floor and rush after pups only to get to their face and then stand still.

I am a beggar when it's dinner time for humans, if I can't taste what they have, I will yip relentlessly. Sometimes I am put in another room while they eat. I eat my own meals at a very slow pace, I like to savor the food. No one gets near me when I eat, they know better than try to steal even a small morsel. 

I am in love with the human race...there is no one I have met that I don't like. I curl up like a baby in your arms and will fall asleep immediately.

Well, hello beautiful world! I have gained a little more weight and I think I'm ready for a home of my very own! I had my dental and lost 7 teeth, I feel so much better now. I get along with my foster sister and my foster mommy's friends pups. I am pretty vocal when I need to go ourside to do my business or I'm hungry. Otherwise, I'm a pretty quiet guy. I love hugs and cuddles and I will purrrrr like a kitten if you hold me close. I am leash trained and pretty much potty trained. I love rides in the car and meeting new people.

I am feeling so much better now. I have gained a little over a pound because foster mommy is always feeding me. My diet has changed now, I got so tired of eating people food, I surprised foster mom one day and ate my foster sisters bowl of food! YIPEE, I eat a good grain free dog kibble with a tablespoon of canned grain free and foster mom pours some Kefir over it.

In maybe 3 weeks I will be strong enough for my vaccinations, dental and microchip. We have to wait and see if I can gain some more weight.

Talk about suave...you oughta see me prance. I have moves like no other on earth! Some say I look like a dancing pony. Honest!

Keep watching for my updates, say a little prayer for me please to gain strength so I can keep up with the others.

Leonardo Intake 7-18-2016

My name is Leonardo and getting healthy is my goal! 

I was found in an abandoned home with no food or water for 2 full weeks. I lost half of my body weight and I was a matted mess! Foster mom didn't even know if I was neutered or not! 

I am safe now, thanks to my rescue people. Foster mom is feeding me 4 meals a day of cooked ground Turkey with brown Himalayan rice. I started feeling strong enough to eat on my own a few days ago. I am on a positive up-swing! Foster mom's goal is to get me back up to 15-16 lbs so I will be ready for adoption.

I get along with other pups in my foster home. I'm not a 'player', but I love to watch the others play. I am great on a leash and love very short walks. Hopefully soon, I will be strong enough to take longer walks and explore the neighborhood. I adore people, especially the ones who pick me up and love on me. I love to be loved!

Keep a close eye on me, Foster mom will continue to post updates on my health. I am too weak for my vaccinations, dental and microchipping at this time. We are hoping for a weight gain so maybe in a month or so I'll be ready to go to my forever home. Just look at how adorable I am!!!
