Wow, I have been on hold for a full year now. My ALT numbers flared up in June last summer and my doctor at the UW Madison asked my foster mommy to put me on hold until my numbers returned to normal. Well, you guessed it! My numbers are pretty much normal now after a year of Denamarin daily.I never acted any different, I was never sick but my numbers sky rocketed and both my doctors couldn't figure out why. Today I had my dental and I had 3 teeth removed. I know I will be happier with those icky things out of my mouth. Foster momma is going to take some new pictures of Autumn and I tomorrow. We are still both a little groggy and we need our faces washed up so we can show you how beautiful we both are. You know, I must be adopted with Autumn. We are a bonded pair and must stay together. Our adoption donation is $250.00 each, we need a fenced in yard because we love to explore off leash.

Please consider adopting us. We will not let you down. We are easy to please, quiet (except for dinner time).

Hello, Hello, Hello!!!!

I have done a lot of learning since the summer. I let my foster mom know when I need to go outside to do my business. I still wear a belly band because of those old memories I have from the puppy mill. Sometimes without even knowing it, I lift my leg in the house, and I have been known to poop in my foster brothers bed!

I am the king of the house! When I bark I let everyone know I am in charge. I am not afraid of any pup and get along with all dogs.I yip for my breakfast and dinner just to get foster moms attention so she moves faster.

I like short walks as long as Autumn is by my side. I love her and I can't bear to be away from her for any length of time.

I'm not much interested in toys, I would rather sit on your lap and get a body massage and belly rubs. I show my appreciation by kicking your hands.

Autumn and I are looking for our forever home. A home where we will be loved and also a securely fenced in yard so we can play outside. Since we are so small and fragile, we will not be adopted out to a family with children under the age of 15.

Autumn and I are UTD on all of our vaccinations, We are on monthly heartworm and flea and tick preventative, it's called Trifexis. We are both very healthy and get professionally groomed every 6 weeks.

Autumn and OakLee are a bonded pair and require being adopted together. Since they both love to explore outside, they require a securely fenced back yard.

Update 10-01-2016

Hello,

My name is Oaklee.  I am now 6years and 10 months old who has many wonderful years of love to give.  I am a sweet boy once I know you. I am starting to give kisses and play with my human. Since I was a breeder in a puppy mill it took me a while to show love since I was never shown it.

Though I am leashed trained, my favorite thing to do outside is run in a fenced yard and bounce like a bunny, which makes  my foster parents laugh.  l love to exercise, but I am a good, calm boy in the house. I love to sleep next to Autumn inside and coax her to play.

I sit nice for my meals when told.  Call me and I will come to you. I sit like a champ for ear cleaning, grooming, and baths. I am very patient when being fussed over.

I wear a belly band and am dry 50% of the time. I have gone on a pee pad with my belly band on. It may be possible for me to be trained to go on pee pads in a small area for breaks. I do my poop outside all of the time.

It does not matter if my new owner is male or female, I will love either one.

If you are chosen to adopt us, please give us time to adjust and we will love you whole-heartedly with hand kisses and playful bounces.

Much Love,

Oaklee

Update 09-12-2016

Check out my new professional photos!  I am a very handsome boy!

Update 6-9-2016

Autumn and Oaklee have been in foster care for just over 6 months. They both have become pretty dependent of each other, trusting their foster mom and are no longer frightened.

Update Monday December 7, 2015

OakLee and Autumn have been fostered in the same home for the past four weeks. It has come to the attention of Foster mom and dad that these two pups should not be separated.  They rely on one another for cuddles, company and love.  At this time, we will not be adopting out Autumn and OakLee separately.  They will be looking for a home together.

My name is OakLee.  I am named after my foster mom's family home.  You see, there are 5 big oak trees in the yard.  She wanted to name me after them because of the beauty of nature and remembrance.

I was in a cage for over 6 years of my life. You would be amazed how happy I am to be free. I love people, love to be pet and love, love, love running outside. I am quite social.

Because I came from a puppy mill, my mouth and teeth are a mess.  I lost many teeth, but I can tell you that my mouth feels so much better. And smells better too!

We will be available for adoption after the 19th of November, 2015.  Foster mom says I have to heal real good first before I can go to my forever home.

We will be looking for an all adult home, we are very fine boned and need extra special care. We also will need some time to get potty trained, this is a whole new world for us and I hope everyone can be patient with us while we learn. I will also need a fenced in yard, we mill pups have flight issues, and boy, can we escape and run fast!
