A happy addition to our family!!!

On Sunday, May 1, 2016 my husband and I became parents again to the most adorable, sweet, fluffy, precious little soul named Annie K.  She likes to jump in our bed in the morning and politely waits for us to open our eyes and when we do the kisses start!  If that doesn't put a smile on your face and start you day on a happy note, nothing will!!!   She's not quite nine pounds but what a difference she's made in our lives!! 

Annie K is up for just about anything...she enjoys riding in the car, going for ice cream (she only gets a little dab of vanilla on a spoon).  Annie K loves running around and exploring her new yard...loves chasing the birds and squirrels away!!!!  Oh boy can she run, she has this cute little run, hop action, kind of like a rabbit when she goes after any "yard predators"!!!!  It's her job, so it's very serious business!!!

She has already gone out of state to Dubuque, Iowa to meet and visit her new furry cousins, Lexi and Jazi. She did well!!

Annie's last adventure, thus far, was this past weekend up north to Crivitz, Wi. to celebrate Memorial Day with her new cousins. When she jumped out of the car at the cabin she just ran around the property taking the lead from Lexi and Jazi and we swear she had the biggest smile on her face!!! It was so apparent she loved it there!  We were hoping she would like the lake and the boat...Annie did not disappoint!  She wasn't the least bit nervous, she settled right in seeming to delight in all the new smells and the wind in her face!!!  She even went for a short swim and by the way, she's a good swimmer!!!

We are enjoying and loving Annie so much and are so grateful to "A Promise of Love" and to you Paula, and your team for choosing us to be Annie's forever parents and being able to give her a loving and safe forever home!! You certainly are dedicated and hardworking!  A sincere thanks to you, Pat, Annie's foster mom for taking her in and loving and nurturing her for those weeks you had her.

Your work is so important, thank you for caring so much !!  Rescuing a pet is definitely the way to go!!
