Pupdate: 6-26-2016 I am so ready to find my new home. Oh, and no large pups please, I'm so small I get intimidated easily. MG is 6 lbs. worth of energy who would love to have a little brother or sister to run and play tug with. He tolerates big dogs but would prefer they weren't around. He's fine with cats although he will bark at them. Face to face he's fine as long as they don't run.
We're working on housebreaking and only have accidents when foster mom isn't paying attention to cues.
MG loves to go on walks and is very good on his leash. He comes when called . So using both names, MG, or Melvyn George, seems to work.
He's a good eater and shows no food aggression when dining with other K9s.
At the end of the day, all MG wants, is to snuggle on your lap and although he will go in his kennel, he loves to sleep in bed with you.
MG will make someone very happy.

Hello! My official name is Melvyn George, but all my new friends call me "MG". I am a bitsy boy that longs for love and attention because that's what I will return to you. You see, I was found by the city inspector in an abandoned home. I had a Pit Bull sister that was left there also.I don't want to remember my past because it makes me sad. I just turned 3 years old yesterday and I had never had a haircut and my foot was matted to my ear and my eyes were matted shut. Once I was found, a good lady took me to the Vet to spend the night. Then in the morning, my new life began...so there is no looking back for me! I love to snuggle, give kisses and be loved on. My favorite place to be scratched in my ears and neck...it's like heaven! I get so relaxed I fall asleep. I have a new haircut, and I have been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. I will stay in my foster home for 2-3 weeks so I can be evaluated. This evaluation will make sure I will find the most perfect home for my needs and personality.
