AT 12 yrs old, Bear is a handsome, cream colored, Lhasa Apso who doesn't want much, just likes to lay at your feet, slightly touching so he knows that your there.
When Bear first came to stay with us, he wouldn't go outside without his leash on, which he walks very nicely on. Even though the yard is fenced, he needed you to walk the yard with him. He didn't really care for the feel of the grass either. Now, the door opens and he runs right out with the others.He has not had one accident in the house and will bark at you when he needs to go out.
Bear is a good eater and shows no food aggression toward the other dogs. However, at 26 lbs needs a watchful eye on his diet as he will try to sneak to others bowls when he's done with his. As far as his activities, they manly consist of, jumping into the couch to lay at your feet.
He gets along great with the other dogs in the house, both large and small. Cats and horses have not been an issue with him either.
Come bedtime, Bear would prefer to be in bed with you, again, at your feet. He does need help getting into bed and when you lift him, her will make a growling noise but it does not seem like an act of aggression and he has never snapped at me while lifting him.
Numerous friends and family have been by to meet him including Grandchildren ages 1yr to 9 yrs. He stayed away from the little ones but enjoyed the older children. I would therefore recommend older respectful children be considered.
I will end the way that I started...Bear doesn't want much.
