Update: 12-27-2018

Our dear Bogie is back with us, due to no fault of his own. 
It seems there was an unexpected alpha dog problem at Bogies new home that made it not safe for our little guy. Bogie is back with his original foster family residing with two other fur buddies. 

Bogie would be best suited in a home with a laid back beta type fur buddy or as an only "child". A retired couple or family with older children would be ideal. 

He needs someone to give him the love and security of a safe home. Our rescues have been through a lot and need patience from a new family while they acclimate and learn to trust once again.

Bogie is a sweet quiet boy who loves to snuggle and give kisses, an infrequent barker who loves to explore his yard and is completely housebroken, getting regular potty breaks. He enjoys car rides and walks as well on a leash.

We're wishing him a loving forever home for the New Year, providing him with the stability he so deserves.

Hi everybody! My name is Bogie and I was found as a stray out in the country. I was kind of a messy mess when found but I was kissed by a princess and look at me now! 

I have been to a specialist about the problem I was having with my eyes. I had a Dermoid in my right eye and my Dr.s at UW Vet Hospital have removed it. I am on the mend and my eye is healing great. I will need Optimmune in my eyes twice daily to make sure my eyes don't get dry. It's a really easy fix and my eyes feel wonderful for hours on end. My left eye has a blue patch in it, so I am a bi-color eyed baby! I will need to be seen by an eye specialist in 6-8 weeks which will make the date towards the end of November. This will be a follow up appointment to make sure my eyes are all done healing.

I have a lot of love in my heart, I am the perfect pup!

Bogie has been doing so well in foster. He came into rescue as a stray, adjusted to home living very quickly, having but one accident in the beginning when we were still getting to know him. 
This precious little guy is a gentle, sweet, loving, cuddle bug! There is not a mean bone in his body! He would snuggle with you all day long if he could! 
Bogie is coming into his own and loves running around exploring the yard with his fur buddies and sunning on the deck! Bogie walks great on a leash and is starting to play with toys. Playing tug has been his go to game. He definitely is NOT a frequent barker! Could this dear boy be anymore perfect?
Bogie is living with two other doggies with no problem. He hasn't been introduced to any cats, so I can't comment on that. He's a good eater, food motivated and quick to respond when teaching basic commands.
Bogie is crate trained, but loves sharing our bed, of course.
Bogie has been a complete joy to foster.

Bogie will need a fenced yard so he can continue to explore nature.
