Lucy needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

09/01/2019

Hi there! I am looking for my new forever home with a FENCED in backyard as I love to explore the wonderful outdoors. I am completely cleared of my Ehrlichia and I feel so good. I have mastered the English language and foster mom says I'm the kindest, sweetest pup on this earth. I adore belly rubs and I can never give enough kisses. I so appreciate being loved and it shows in my face, body and tail wags.I would love to find a forever home where I don't have to compete for my spot in the big bed. I love to show affection by jumping on my person but foster mom is trying to teach me 'down.' I have never snapped or shown any type of bad-girl-ness. I am pretty much leashed trained, but will chase after a squirrel if given the chance. I also have destroyed several rolls of toilet paper so now all the bathroom doors are shut at all times...boo hoo. I do like toys, but I'm pretty picky about which toys I like. Anything that's squeaky or has crunchy sounds are my favorite (besides rolls of toilet paper)!

So, if you can find a place in your heart and home, I promise I will love you forever and ever.

Hello everyone! I have such a smart foster mommy, she has learned how to teach me the English language. I really pay attention to her when she is teaching me, and if I don't totally understand her I roll over and want belly rubs. I know how to sit, stay and I found out quickly what NO means! I get so excited sometimes, I run around the house like a tiger is chasing me. I still can fly down stairs with one leap and land on all fours! I have a lot of energy and I love to play.I have a great, loving personality with both humans and other pups. I haven't met a cat yet but I don't think we would be a good match up.

I had blood work done at my doctor's office and I tested positive for Ehrlichia. That's a tick born blood disorder which I brought with me from Thailand. I don't have any of the symptoms because I am so full of energy.I will be tested again when I am done with taking my Doxycline in two and a half weeks. I won't be available for adoption until sometime in June. Foster mommy wants to make sure this Ehrlichia is completely cleared up. I have already been taking my Trifexis to make sure I won't get infected again. Stupid ticks!

Intake 3/02/2019

Hi there! My foster mommy is translating my journey to the USA for me. I am a happy 18 lb., two year old fancy girl from Cha Am, Thailand. In October of 2018, I was dumped along with two other friends in a large landfill. That same day, I was rescued and taken into foster care where I stayed until my flight to Bangkok and then off to Doha, Qatar. From Doha, I was flown with a companion named Susan all the way to Chicago! I was a bit frightened when my new foster momma picked me up. I was a little shakey and very quiet.

In the past week, I have been introduced to several new pups and I get along great with all of them. I have had a nice bath and my ears cleaned out. My appetite is good, I never miss a meal. I am very exuberant and my love of humans spills all over the place. I am kind, loving and give the best kisses. I love my belly rubs and my walks. I am learning how to walk with a leash, a little too much pulling right now. But I am just learning how to be the gentle young girl I am.

I am not too familiar with English but I am catching on. A little slow at this point in time but I love my new country and will try my hardest to become the perfect American pup.

I will need a fenced in yard. That is a must, because I can jump higher than Michael Jordan. Boys, eat your hearts out!!!

My adoption donation is $350.00
