Precious is a beautiful young lady. She absolutely loves to be in her persons lap at all times. She’s fully house trained. She currently lives with 4 other dogs and cat and does great with everyone. She does like to protect her toys so she sometimes will growl at the other dogs if they come to close to her but when we tell her no she is OK. She will need a home with a fenced in yard and I suggest someone goes out with her every time in case she decides to escape, she has not tried it with us but she does look around for exits .She loves to go for car rides and small walks. Precious is just the sweetest gal ever she just needs a few weeks to settle into her new surroundings. Her front paw was injured as a young pup and healed funny. The vet said there is nothing they can do for her, she does not seem to be in pain but when it bothers her she will lift it up but that does not slow her down one bit. Precious is spayed and utd on all her shots. She is also microchipped and has been to the groomers. Precious weighs in at about 13 pounds and not a big barker. Won’t you please open your home to this gal she’s had a crappy beginning of life and would love to live the remaining time on your lap enjoying life like a spoiled pup should. Update 6/14/2019

I had my dental today and only needed one tooth pulled! I was a very good girl and woke up quickly after my anesthesia wore off. My pearly whites are verrry pearly now!

I had an x-ray of my right front paw. Looks like my growing plate was fractured when I was still growing. It has healed on it's own and surgery is not recommended. it doesn't hurt me but it gets lazy after a long walk or a lot of romping around. I started my bone supplements today which will help my bones stay strong.

Precious came in as an owner surrender. Precious's mom had passed away recently and a cousin took her in to keep her from being PTS, as no family members wanted her. After 2.5 weeks, the new owners surrendered her to APOL.

Hi, I'm Precious!!! And I may add I'm Precious in more ways than one. I love being around other pups my size as long as they keep their noses out of my business...Sniff once, OK. Sniff twice and I will bark till they stop!

I'm a beautiful girl with a stunning coat. My ears can be a bit wonky, if I hear a noise, they pop up semi erect. I weigh in at 13 lbs, stunningly gorgeous for this time of year. I have a really good appetite and am totally potty trained. 

Something happened to my right front paw, I don't know if it's an old injury or break, but my new Vet will be checking it out when I have my dental on Friday. Hopefully she can tell me what happened, because I don't seem to remember. When I get tired, my foot turns to the outside and my ankle bends to accommodate my balance. Sometimes I sit with my paw drawn up.My foster mommy rubs it and I don't shiver or pull away.

I will be ready for adoption towards the end of June. APOL likes to keep their fosters for awhile so they can be sure we all find the perfect home, the perfect match.

My adoption donation is $300.00 and I do need a fenced yard, I love wandering off. Some day I will tell you a story of my journey one night, where I escaped and lived through a horrible thunderstorm on to be found the next morning cold, wet and scared.
