HI ya'all! My name is Bear and I came into A Promise of Love as an owner surrender. My sibling and I are here due to no fault of our own. Although we are siblings, we are not bonded. I am a very calm gentleman where Carson is very active  and sometimes he is a little too much for me to handle. I love to be loved on and will melt into your arms. I'm working on my potty training at this time and I'm learning very fast. Did you know that I'm missing my back right leg? I was adopted  this way and no one seems to know why. I get along great on three legs, I can keep up with the fastest runners!

I am working on simple commands right now. I know "come, sit and stay. I will need a fence in my new yard, but I also prefer someone to go outside with me while I explore. I am crate trained and leash trained. I love toys, big fluffy toys and Kong toys with treats inside. I came here a little overweight and it was a little hard on my legs so foster mom put me on a diet. I am where I need to be right now, a couple of pounds have left my body and I get along better now.

I'm looking for true love and a lasting relationship. I get along great with other pups as long as they are not in my face and overly active. Older children with a great respect for animals would be ideal or my new family. I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on all my vaccinations, on HW preventative, Flea and tick preventative and just had my dental and grooming.
