Adoption Pending 4-15-15 ~Brimley is being fostered in Minneapolis, MN. His adoption fee is $250. Hello everyone!! It is me, Brimley!!! I have left this biography thing up to foster mom and it is just not working for me!! So, I have decided to write my own biography!! Foster mom will get to add a few words of her own after I am done! I am a 7 year old ShihTzu mix-- not sure what I am mixed with, but whatever it is-- it is cute, cute, cute!! Foster mom’s nickname for me is “love lump”. Apparently she thinks this is funny-- because I am a major couch potato. If you are looking for a jogging partner, keep looking-- I am not interested. My main interests in life are taking a short stroll around the yard when the weather is cool, laying on the cool driveway and laying on your lap. I will chase after my favorite ball a few times if you throw it for me after dinner. I get along with my foster brothers and sisters--except that some times foster brother William steals my ball. He is just jealous of my extreme cuteness. When foster mom first saw my picture I had a tumor on my left front leg. This made me unadoptable and they were going to kill me. How could anyone look into my big brown eyes and even think of doing such a horrible thing? A very kind person snatched me up out of that nasty place and took me to the doctor to have my tumor removed. The tumor was malignant, but the cancer had not spread. But apparently this is scaring off some people who would otherwise adopt me. Just like any human who has had a cancer scare, I am a survivor!! The only special care I require is that you take me to the vet every two months for the next 18 months. The vet just needs to check me out for lumps or bumps and that is it!! Foster mom can give you more details about this. She took me to the oncologist and he says that I am good to go! I know there has to be someone out there who will love me and take a chance on me. Remember that Abba song?? "Take a Chance on Me"? Well, I have decided that is my theme song!! Here are some of the words: ~~"Take A Chance On Me"
I am all love and am looking for a furever family to share my love with them. So come on---- take a chance on me!!!
Foster mom would now like to say a few words: Brimley has the typical Shih Tzu attitude- sweet and stubborn at the same time. He is a very easy going and loving little boy. We have not had him around cats, so I don’t know how he would react to the feline species. Since Brimley can have a bit of an attitude, he would do best in a home with older respectful children or an adult only household. He is a very handsome little boy. We are working on housetraining with Brimley, but he is not yet housetrained. For now, he wears a belly band in the house. Most of all, I would like all of you to know what an incredible dog he is. Everyone who meets him loves him and he returns that love. Let him sit on your lap and he is your instant best friend! He loves to snuggle into you just like the little baby that he thinks he is!
Brimley is being fostered in Minneapolis. If you are interested in learning more about this little treasure and how to adopt him-- we would love to hear from you!
