Learn more about the Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie. UPDATE May 4, 2015 Hannah is barking! If she wants something, she will bark until you meet her wishes. She gets excited in the morning ready to start the day off by tail wagging. She loves to be chased in the yard and is a very happy little girl. Her joy everyday is running in her fenced in yard. She is inquisitive and is learning the meaning of freedom. Hannah does not have accidents in the house, she is pad trained, and will go to the door when she has to relieve herself. Hannah needs a quiet place to eat, she will not eat with the other pups.
Hannah is progressing at this time, but we still need time to really know her. Keep watching, she will be off hold soon. We want to make sure we get her adopted to the perfect family. Hannah is a very sweet petite girl. Her names means "Grace" and that she is, very gentle and graceful. She has been around small dogs and large dogs, well-behaved children as well as adults and loves all she comes in contact with. I can't imagine she would have a problem with a cat, but she hasn't met one yet. She is a very good girl in the car and very quiet, in fact we haven't heard her bark yet! She loves to be picked up and held, she will almost reach her front paws out to you to let you pick her up. The first 8 years of her life she spent in a cage having babies for a puppy farmer, so she is exploring life and loving it for the first time. She requires a soft diet since she was not taken very good care of at the puppy mill, and as a result, she has lost all of her teeth. She is learning to go up and down stairs, but prefers only a few steps. She has not mastered jumping up on furniture even with the use of a stool, but if you pick her up and let her snuggle with you, she will be in heaven. She uses a potty pad at the door and does well going outside with the other dogs, she will still need help with potty training (she dances around and gives signs when she needs to go, so I think she will catch on quickly). She also tolerates wearing a diaper when left home alone if you prefer not to use a potty pad. She should not be crated, she is a very good girl left with the run of the house. She sleeps well in a dog bed or in bed with us. Hannah is used to being around other dogs, it would be best for her to be in a quiet home with another mild mannered dog(s) or someone who is home much of the time with her, it wouldn't be fair to her to be left home alone several hours a day. Foster mom loves this little one so much and wants to find her forever home that is going to adore and love her and spoil her like the princess she deserves to be. Adoption Donation $250.00
