Hello Friends!

My name is Dekker!  I am named after WI Badger Basketball Superhero, Sam Dekker. My rescue said I am a superhero too, so they named me after him. I love that!

Foster mom says I am the sweetest, most snuggliest boy ever. I love to snuggle my nose right into your neck. I get along great with other small dogs but I am afraid of big dogs and not too sure about cats as I have only met one. I love car rides and going for visits.  A quiet home with teenage kids or no kids would be best for me. I need a fenced in yard since I am not sure about this leash thing yet. You see, even though I am good to go now, I grew up in a cage and was used to make babies, so when I was rescued I had to learn lots of new things and am still eagerly learning. I had a hernia repair, I have been neutered and another surgery on my privates and of course a dental and all shots UTD,so I am good as new now! Doc thinks I may have a little bit of allergies but an inexpensive steroid shot a couple times a year and generic Benadryl pill seems to do the trick.

I love people, I melt right into my human's arms. I love all other small dogs and would do best in a home with another companion animal that is my size. I am so layed back and just plain happy to be in a home with so many warm beds, a great foster mom and dad and the best food on earth.  I am ready to find my new forever home and I promise you I will love you for life.  Be kind to me and I will show you how much love is packed into this tiny body of mine.
