How do you spell sweetheart? BRYANNA! Sweet little Bryanna's previous life in a Wisconsin puppy mill hasn't hardened her heart or her spirit. She's a loving little girl. Bree is an 8 year old Maltese. She is small and delicate so she will need a home with no small children. Bryanna is doing wonderfully in her new life outside the mill. She's working hard on her potty training. When I take her outside she will potty. She also will use the potty pad inside but still does have some accidents. Bryanna is very smart and I know she will learn quickly. .

Bryanna tends to be possessive of people if she is sitting on your lap. It doesn't matter who is holding her if anyone else comes by she will growl and bark at them. She has never attempted to bite though. It's all just a show. All you need to do is offer her your hand to sniff she will stop and sniff. Bree also growls at the other dogs if she's in anybody's lap. Again...she never attacks...just growls. This action could be due to her previous mill life. Bree isn't used to getting loving attention and so she is quite protective of it now and unwilling to share it. Bryanna has only been in rescue for a short period of time and this tendency to be possessive could disappear with time. Cages bring back scary sad memories for Bryanna so kenneling is not an option for her. Bree is also very vocal. If she wants something she will definitely let you know. At night she loves snuggling in the bed with me. Her favorite treat is cheese.

Bryanna is being fostered in a home with other dogs and she gets along well with them all. She shows no interest in toys yet. She prefers to spend her time snuggling in your lap. We are working on leash training along with our potty training. Bryanna would love to find a nice quiet home where she could spend the day snuggling and showing you just how much she loves you.
